Our SIL service is designed to empower you by promoting your independence
Supported Independent Living (SIL) is best suited to people with a disability who have higher support needs. This means you need a significant amount of help throughout the day, 7 days a week and this includes overnight care.
Supported Independent Living is one type of support you can get through the NDIS to live independently in your own home. For more information on how SIL works visit the NDIS website.
Our SIL
service
Designed to empower you by promoting your independence while ensuring easy access to personal assistance when you need it. We understand that everyone has unique needs and preferences when it comes to their living arrangements, so we take a person-centred approach to care. We do our best to listen to what you want to do and take into account your existing strengths to deliver a service that is tailored to your needs.
When you choose our SIL service, our experienced team will work closely with you to find accommodation that not only meets your needs but also reflects your desired lifestyle.
We collaborate with a variety of housing providers to identify suitable homes or, if you already have existing housing, we can work with you to ensure it is modified to accommodate your specific needs.
Once your accommodation is secured, and modified for better accessibility. Our team will be there to support you in various aspects of your daily living. We recognise that household tasks can sometimes feel overwhelming, so we offer assistance with completing these tasks, if you ask for assistance. Whether it’s cleaning, organising, or managing household chores, our staff will be by your side, ensuring your living environment is comfortable and supports greater independence, choice and control.
